Create an engaging virtual sales conference to celebrate Channel’s 10-year anniversary in the middle of a pandemic

The Situation

 

Completing a record sales season and celebrating its 10-year anniversary, Channel was feeling the momentum in 2020. But as the pandemic struck, the ag community and the brand were beginning to feel the strain. Caught in the balance was the key sales event, Seedsman Ignite, that could not happen live due to Covid-19.

Seedsman Ignite is an annual launch event that kicks off the sales year for Channel Seedsmen, and carries a strong reputation as a lively and effective meeting. To keep the momentum, the virtual event would require a dynamic experience for the audience and highly effective programming.

In spite of the global pandemic, Channel has a lot to celebrate in 2020. This year marks the brand’s 10-year anniversary. And Seedsman Ignite is the perfect opportunity to revel in all that we’ve done. A place to reflect on the past and reveal what’s to come. A moment to transform memories into momentum.

FSI: Seedsman Unit (dun.dun)

The show-stopping breakout session of the event aimed to showcase the importance of the Custom Crop Report tool to the Seedsman.

Shot exclusively via Zoom, we sent each speaker a camera, earbuds and green screen. Then we created graphics in the style of an investigation board (or “murder board” as we lovingly called it) to provide visual aid and a consistent back drop for each presenter.

Seedsman Ignite Welcome Box

Sent to every attendee ahead of the event, the Welcome Box contained Channel swag.
